Sinead O’Malley from Clare Island won the Hyundai Kona Electric worth approximately €45,000 in the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation’s car draw, which raised over €150,000.
The draw was held live on Facebook, and Alan Mulroy of Mulroy’s Londis donated the car to support the Hospice Foundation.
Martina Jenning, CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation thanked Alan for his generosity and support, and announced that funds raised in the draw would go towards funding and developing palliative care services in Mayo and Roscommon.
Londis’ Sales Director, Conor Hayes, praised Mulroy’s commitment to the foundation and commended the draw’s achievement.
Proprietor Alan Mulroy expressed his delight with the amount raised and thanked staff and volunteers. Winner Sinead O’Malley expressed gratitude for the care her aunt received at the The Castlebar Hospice and thanked all those involved.

Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation exists to fund palliative care services to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families in County Mayo and County Roscommon.
The Foundation affirms life, respecting the uniqueness of each individual, by caring and supporting to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families living with life-threatening illnesses. The Service enables patients to live out the remainder of their lives in comfort and dignity. The Palliative Care Service is provided free of charge to all.
